I am so excited to be teaching first grade again this year!! I CANNOT wait to meet my sweet students and your precious families!!  It is going to be a fantastic year!! I would love to share some information about myself with you!   I was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and moved to Georgia when I was 4 years old.  I attended Cobb County Schools. My husband Waylyn and I have two sons. Aiden is 10 and Mason is 5. Aiden and Mason will both be going to Vaughan this year!  When I’m not at school, I love spending time at the little league baseball park, traveling and going on adventures around town with my children.​ I have a Bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University as well as a Master’s Degree in Education. I also received my Specialist Degree in Education Leadership from Lincoln Memorial  University. I have 16 years of experience in kindergarten and first grade classrooms. I have always enjoyed teaching elementary aged students because of their love of learning, excitement and level of enthusiasm.  ​
